In a move that is sure to inspire late-night comedy jokes for at least the next week, China’s first private airline took to the skies today. Its name?

(Someone please tell me this got screwed up in the translation.)

Okay Airlines.

Yeah, I’m just gonna leave it at that.

Laughable, but entirely predictable. If you happen to live in a town with a reasonably large asian population - check out the names of the stores and restaurants in ‘chinatown’.

Many of them will probably be named OK Smoke shop, OK Restaurant….

I think it’s likely the other way around: The phrase ‘OK’ as we know it *gains* something in the translation into Chinese :)
